Got that guy's number and moments later called him, he advanced the kernel of knowledge and said to maybe call the Ontario MNR, perhaps forestry; it could be privately owned, but in terms of cleaning boulders it has not ever been a problem.
Spoke to him of the fact that my landlord must attract climberwriters.
